Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R)


Activities of the University of Kragujevac are based on the unity of educational and scientific or artistic research. University of Kragujevac aims to constantly improve the quality of teaching and development of scientific research and artistic research at the University. Scientific and artistic research activities at the University are implemented at the level of the University and faculties of the University, realized through fundamental, basic, integrated and interdisciplinary, development researches and researches from program of technological development in the field of natural-mathematical, technological, socio-humanities and medical sciences. Both academic and administrative staffs of the University participate in scientific and artistic research with a goal to develop and popularize science, art and creativity, improve activities of higher education, i.e. improve the quality of teaching, training young scientists, introducing students to scientific and artistic research.

Faculties of the University of Kragujevac have been engaged, as coordinators or as partners, in 132 projects funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. Out of that number, faculties are coordinators in 27, and partners in 65 national projects.
Faculties are engaged as partners or as coordinators in around 16 international projects.
Total number of teachers and staff who participate in national projects is 521, while 44 are engaged in international.

At the faculties of the University of Kragujevac, for the period 2011-2014, 27 projects, funded by the Ministry of Science and Technological Development, were implemented, as follows:

  • 14 projects from the Program of basic researches,
  • 10 projects from the Program of technological development,
  • 3 projects from the Program of integrated and interdisciplinary research.
